8 chalk boards printed, cut and laminated!

Throughout the week our mission was to frame different sized chalk board vinyls for a local pub. To do this we printed the design onto ordinary white vinyl and then laminated on top for protection and to make them look more realistic. They were then mounted onto MDF using PVA glue.

It felt like a great achievement to put them next to each other size by side, hence them being taken outside!

All Canalside Farm Shop & Cafe signs fitted!

During the summer of 2014 we had a big order for signage which we had to design, make and fit for the Canalside farm shop based in Great Haywood, Stafford. During August, the new Canalside Cafe opened which meant even more signs!

The photos above show all of the signs we did, all brand new designs, either replacing the old farm shop ones or fixing the new ones onto the walls of the brand new cafe. From big heavy acrylic signs using the vinyl application process to small lightweight dibond signs which were directly printed onto.

This was another great achievement by Printdot and is great to look back at. A BIG job well done!

Printdot builds Goizper Group 'MATABI' Glee Exhibition stand at Birmingham NEC!

Above are finished photos of the Goziper Group 'MATABI' Glee Exhibition stand. This was built at the Birmingham NEC by ourselves and was completed with a 3-day turnaround! Can we work to tight deadlines? You bet we can! We started preparing the materials on the Monday and was all loaded up and ready to go to the NEC by Wednesday afternoon. Thursday morning we started the build. The exhibition was from 14th - 16th September and was successfully ready by Saturday night, a great achievement!

The stand itself is 48m/sq and features 49m/sq of printed wall graphics, TV monitor, lighting and a 3x1m store room with hospitality facilities.

A new recruit from Paris!

Here I am the new French recruit from Paris with 4 years of experience in business and marketing standing by Keith Milford, the manager of the company just before the Business Forward networking meeting, which is hosted by ourselves, that meets on the first Tuesday of every month at the Business Solution Centre in Wolverhampton 10:30am - 12:30pm.

One happy customer!

A DJ recently got into contact with us inquiring about redesigning his roller banner and business cards. There were however a few small problems - he didn't have the original artwork for us to print out a new banner and he needed them by the following week as he had an event to perform at.

That wasn't a problem for us in the end as our team of designers worked hard to redesign and make the original design more modern so it would appeal to all ages. We then send off the proofs and he loved them!

We were given the go ahead to print and assemble the roller banner and business cards and he collected them later in the week.

The conclusion - One very happy customer!

A New Recruit all the way from Toulouse, France.

This week were are very happy to welcome Xavier, the latest addition to the printdot team.

 

Xavier has 4 year experience in a print company from France and specializes in vinyl application!

Custom Lightbox Signs, ideal for your high street shops...

This week we have been very busy, the latest job we have been out doing is a sign for a local pharmacy.
Fallings park pharmacy came to us and asked if we could replace the graphics on their 9 metre by 0.5 metre lightbox sign.
We were able to quickly turn around a few preliminary design and with the day we were approved and ready to go with producing the sign.

We have also had a new recruit join us this week all the way from Toulouse in France, his nam eis Xavier and he has several years experience in sign making and vinyl application already.
The timing seemed almost ideal and we were able to set him off plotting out the design and applying the vinyl to 3 sheets of poly-carb which we had routed so that they joined together and wouldn't seperate when the wind picks up and blows it inwards.

Three of us then went round and fitted the sign and took the old sign away to be recycled.

The whole job went as smooth as could be hoped for and Xavier really got to show his skills and show us what he is capable of. We are very pleased to have him with us and are sure he will prove a very capable and beneficial addition to our ever growing team.

BMW Racing Club has a successful evening whilst modelling a Pop-up Display

We have been lucky enough to receive a couple of photographs from the BMW drivers club 25th anniversary celebration which featured a pop-up display which we provided for them.

They took advantage of our Pop-up Re-Skinning service where we take any existing Pop-up Display Frame you have and create new graphic panels to fit, making it look good as new!
This is something we have just started doing and we don't know of another other printing company offering the same service.
It makes the whole thing a lot cheaper as the frame takes up the bulk of the cost when buying a pop-up display.

We are chargin £50 per drop on the reskinning service and this 3x2 pop-up shown in the picture above had 4 drops.

We think you will agree it looks like new and really helps to make a statement at the event.
